The Pixel Fold smartphone hasn’t been tipped broadly yet. However, Samsung has been knocked to devise a foldable OLED display for the device previously.

The Mountain View firm had “requested Samsung Display create a foldable OLED panel around 7.6-inch in size”, as per The Elec’s report. The size for instance, equal to the internal screen within the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.

The search giant has been consistently defragging Android accounts for the new foldable layout. And preliminary indications are that Android 12 will continue that great job.

Moreover, it would probably a key strength for the industry if Google decides to produce its foldable device with stock Andriod on board. The move of Google could be a cite device for other makers to take, like Microsoft’s 2-in-1 Surface Pro array has been for Windows PCs.

Only two manufacturers Motorola and Samsung who have given foldable phones at the border level until now. Microsoft Surface Duo also includes. With foldable phones, Samsung has fixed some hardware problems regarding reliability. However, the price of devices such as Galaxy Z Fold 2 remains extremely high.

A reasonable-priced Pixel Fold smartphone might support Google to take real hold among mainstream mobile buyers.
