Apple AirPods was originally introduced to the market back in 2016 with their first-gen of its iPhone earbuds, gradually it went to second-gen, and currently, Apple is working on their third-gen of AirPods. Apple’s analyst Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned that Apple is not considering realizing AirPods 3 till the third quarter of this year.
However, there has been information about AirPods 3 design and internal hardware. AirPods 3 is going to have a similar design to the AirPods pro. It’s rumored AirPods 3 will have silicone tips and a shorter stem.
Even though it’s said to be similar to AirPods pro it won’t be having parallel features such as noise cancellation and it will be overall like the current earbuds. AirPods 3 leaked case indicates that there won’t be space for the silicone earbud meanwhile, other leaked images suggest that Airpods 3 will have silicone tips.
Apple is said to be working on a new wireless chip for their latest AirPods 3, and there could be some improvements in the battery life. A new wireless chip means there could be a higher range, but the AirPods 3 are expected to function similar to the current earbuds except for fast device switching and quick pairing with the Apple devices.
Considering other features in the new AirPods 3 may include the same pressure relieving system as the AirPods pro to eliminate the discomfort caused by using the Airpods for a long time and the pricing is said to be around $199.
